I-Program Hockey

News Flash: (dateline - Trenton Michigan 2009-2010)  Our Beginners program is still open to both residents and non-residents.
However, further registration for TimBits is now restricted to returning players and City of Trenton residents only.  We cannot accept any additional non-residents for this season.  Please contact Kevin or Keith for further information and/or to be placed on a waiting list.

Please note that our programs are for children born during 2005 or earlier.  Thanks to the City of Trenton and the Trenton Hockey Association, our TimBit and Beginner programs will continue to be FREE during the 2009-2010 season.  There will still be incidental charges to cover the cost of socks, parties, etc.  However, there will not be any regular monthly ice-fees.    Please note that all regular season participants must still join the Trenton Hockey Association, which requires an $80 membership fee.

Please feel free to contact Director Kevin Begeman at (734) 479-4095 or Keith Kloock at (734) 692-5158 for information on this program.

Please note our schedule changes below (revised 11/22/09)!
Our Beginners will skate on Saturdays @ 8:50am and on Thursdays @ 5:20pm.

Equipment Loan Program:  THA has several sets of new equipment available for loan.  This equipment will be loaned out for a term of one season, in order to allow families to determine whether a child really has interest in hockey.  There will be a $40 deposit for each set of equipment.  This equipment has been purchased through the OneGoal program jointly sponsored by the NHL, the NHL-Players Association, USA Hockey and the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association.

Your child is invited to learn and play the coolest sport on our planet.  The Trenton Hockey Association (THA) has been offering children (both boys & girls) this opportunity since 1961.  You are invited to our 2008-2009 Instructional Hockey Program.  Our Beginners Program is starting it's 26th season (even pre-dating the USA Hockey national I-Program).

Players from surrounding cities are welcomed, but we are especially seeking players from Trenton, Riverview and Gibraltar.  Since both Riverview and Gibraltar lack their own facilities and we are already home to their High School varsity teams.
